Posted by Standard Bank of South Africa on 05/08/2013 To drive and secure new clients (grow and increase sales) through managing channels within the province as identified (Prestige, Middle Market, Private Bank, Private Clients, Liberty, Business Banking and Independent Financial Advisors. To market our company and its services throughout the distribution channels (SBFC, Liberty and IFAs) Manage relationships with all channels at the provincial level. Responsible for providing holistic fiduciary advice and service (estate plans, trusts, wills, professional trustee, etc.) to affluent clients. 3 Years experience in channel, distribution management and fiduciary advice. BComm, Law degree, Any relevant certification i.e Sales, Marketing, Estate Planning, Tax and Business Management. Tracks and monitors targets & budget for the channel. Know the Channel. Understand engagement model and align ours to theirs. Channel incentives – align ours to theirs. Sales Process (sales meetings, sharing information, how they work, CRM systems, reporting & monitoring mechanisms- align ours to theirs. We have our presence at the appropriate channel centres and meetings and occasions etc. Understand their marketing strategy and align ours to theirs. Identifying and Arranging proper training. Develop relevant product strategy for each channel. Build & maintain relationships. Attend Channel Sales Management meetings and present relevant information relating to SET at these forums with the purpose of enhancing the reputation of SET across the channel. Obtain / Create appropriate management reporting to share with the channel which enhances the SET product base within the channel. Manage Channel Satisfaction to appropriate levels. Deal with issues /. Complaints / suggestions timeously. Identify improved methods of working with the channel to provide customers with the best service. Managing the cost of serving the channel. Receive ,Direct and Ensure fulfilment of Leads generated by channel. To provide a fiduciary advisory service to affluent clients of advisers and independent brokers in the region, including wills, drafting and registering trust deeds, liaison with the Masters office, business assurance. To promote the SET Fiduciary value proposition to SBG intermediaries and third parties in their respective areas. To write technical articles (e.g the SET Newsletter, etc). To participate / contribute to technical team meetings. To conduct presentations to advisor/brokers/ broker’s clients on fiduciary issues.
