Still on the ceiling from last night... I got to sit in with one of the best bands in Cleveland (at least!). They are so ridiculously talented, and Ive been such fans of theirs for a long time, that I felt very out of my element. The band is A.C.O., (Afro Cleveland Orchestra), and I used to LOVE seeing them perform 3 sets every Tuesday night at the (old) Grog Shop back in my Coventry days. So it was all the usual characters, including Jackie Warren on keys, plus salsa percussionist and band leader Sammy DeLeon! Just hearing them again was incredible; getting to sit in on a couple tunes was too much for words. Especially the rippin salsa tune! (I was told to start learning salsa immediately, will see what happens... I hope they didnt mean dancing!)
