The Swedish furniture giant recently completed its legal agreement negotiations with Sheffield Council planners. Its plan for a £60m store in Tinsley was unanimously agreed by the council last June, and cleared its final hurdle in August when Communities Secretary Eric Pickles said he would not be reviewing the council’s decision. Now work will start on creating detailed designs for the highways works that have been pledged for around the former Tinsley Wire factory, on Sheffield Road.
