Stress is defined as failure of a human or animal body to respond - TopicsExpress

Stress is defined as failure of a human or animal body to respond appropriately to emotional or physical threats to the organism, whether actual or imagined, of the disruption of homeostasis (balance) brought about by physical or psychological stimuli, That means stress is an internal thing, completely based on how you react to something you perceive (or imagine), not the reality of that thing. Thats why some people could be terribly stressed about losing their job, while someone whos used to changing jobs wont feel the same.
