Student Legislation Seminar Workshop Synthesis The greater value in our experience are three-fold. 1. The exercise of crafting policies requires you to listen with the intent to understand the student sectors issues and dreams. It is not for you to listen with the intent to reply. 2. Analyzing relationships among events, patterns and structures require a skill called systems thinking. This skill is required for us to prosper in the 21st century. Immersing in student legislation opens you to this world of connections and relationships. 3. Engaging political power structures is the undeniable consequence of student legislation. you are given a first-hand seat at advocating changes in both behaviour and policy.
