Surplus over-production in China has become a problematic thing for Indian maufactures. Chinese items have successfully captured domestic market in India. In the sector of heating appliances, ventilations, ACs, & refrigerators the Chinese products have captured 80% of the Indian market. Indian manufacturers have merely 20% share in Indian markets. Construction industry too is feeling the heat of import of China manufactured iron rods. Indian air-conditioning market trade is to the tune of 10,000 crores of rupees. In this Chinese share has reached upto 80%. The reason behind this increase in purchage of Chinese appliances by Indian customers is that they are too cheap and affordable to Indiam customers in comparison to India manufactured appliances. Yearly, Indian AC market is increasing by the rate of 15% per annum. Indian designs are of world class and neither do we have any dearth of resources. The government has just to give incentives to domestic manufacturers and only a bit protectionist measures against in-roading Chinese manufacturers.
