Due to the suspicion the convoy raised, the buses were caused to be driven into Maimalari Barracks, Maiduguri for interrogation. The movement had been advised to beware and well-guided if the story broke out in the media, that Chibok girls were released and taken to Maimalari Barracks. 24 September: On Day 163 of the abduction, (that is 20 days short of exactly 6 calendar months) during his address at the 69th UN General Assembly in New York, President Jonathan misleads the audience.
