THE DEVIL IS THE DETAILING After the 3D Rendering be completed all seems ready for construction - but not yet! :-) Theres still a couple of weeks for the preparation and detailing of the drawing package and to gather specs information for finishes, fittings, equipment and electrics. Information which will be feed to the drawings and schedules. Twelve pages of CAD drawings were produced for the Camberwell project, to explain the making and unique details to the cabinetmaker. The labeling in this drawings has to be read in conjunction with the 3 type of schedules that have been produced in Word Document. If these tasks are not well accomplished the quality and finish might compromised and of course, I dont want my clients to loose time and money fixing things that could have been sorted first place. For example, the cabinetmaker cant guess without the drawings that theres a gap between the door frame (architrave) that needs to be filled with MDF to get the alignment of the elevations right. Yeas, the devil is in the detailing solutions and I love to devote my thoughts to it! :-)
