THE ON/OFF BUTTON OF RACIAL POLITICS IN ACTON Beyond the beltway, if a manager of a company was given a very large sum of money and plenty of time to develop a major product only for it to fail on launch day, that person more than likely would have been fired. Kathleen Sebelius was not. On the other hand, the Obama government wasted no time firing Earline Davis (the woman who happened to take Sean Hannitys call). Yup, she should have followed the rules regarding communicating with the media (and yes, in most cases that is a fireable offense). You know good and doggone well that under any other president, this single Black woman would have immediately been scooped up by any Black media figure and paraded around as a modern example of racism in its highest form. Facebook pages would have been set up to help her out. T-shirts would have been printed. Marches would have been organized. Instead, those within the Obama Mass Choir have once again excused their pastor of yet another infraction of inconsistency--even as it impacted the employment of a single Black mother.
