TIME TO ADDRESS SOCIAL PROBLEMS IN THE COUNTRY Theme: X Years of Work Experience, a notable factor that contributes to the high unemployment rate in the country How on Earth could a fresh graduate candidate meet the X Years of Experience requirement when applying jobs? Never would they, unless they lie. Even if the candidate manages to be invited for an interview by lying about their employment history, they may not be as convincing as those with real Experience and as a result turns to be deselected which again creates another feeling of anxiety and deep disappointment upon them. How many well-educated, talented and hardworking guys out there are yet unemployed mainly because they lack the so-called Work Experience and sadly no one was born with Work Experience, were you? Thus I urge the concerned bodies of the government institutions to draw their attention to this matter and formulate policies that go against the notion of Work Experience and enforce a better approach of recruiting. So sociologically speaking, I suggest recruitment should be based on the educational background needed by the post. Moreover, examining the capacity and competence skills of the candidate in a fair fashion free from nepotism and finally offering high level training and orientation to potential fresh employees.
