EXAM PRAYER It is that time of the year again, Lord God, exam time, when the pressure builds up to immense heights and when I can barely cope with the stress. Expectations are high and I would neighter like to fail those who love me, nor myself. Mostly I would like to do my best with the talents and gifts that You have given me. Dear God, I pray that your guidance will be with me during this exam. Will You help me to concentrate well when I study so that I can get a grip on all the important facts that I have to remember? Will You help me when I sit down to write an exam paper, so that I will be able to think clearly and logically? Lord, through the hand of the apostle Paul You have promised us: Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God (Philippians 4:6) I want to do just that, Lord, when I share all my worries and anxiety about this exam with you. Please make me calm and at peace, knowing that You are in control of my life. I ask this in the wonderful Name of my Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.
