TODAY IN THE PAST JUNE 12, 1914. Today is the Centenary (100) years after the death of His Holiness, Pope St. Pius X (Pope from August 4, 1903 to June 12, 1914. He was the last pope canonized as saint but now no more because ST. John XXIII and St. John Paul II became the latest canonized saint popes. His pontificate was characterized by the devotion to the Eucharist and devotion to the Blessed Lady. He was canonized by Pope Pius XII, in 1954 and was noted as the Pope of the Eucharist. He was against Modernism and wanted to preserve the conservative practices of the Tredentine Mass. Today the Society of St. Pius X (SSPX) is a sad note, because it separates from the Catholic Church due to their own interpretations of the reforms of Vatican II. Sus wa jud kabalo baja ani ang namatay na nga Santo Papa, that his children are in conflict with the Church that their idol belonged. To accommodate the ultra conservative taste of the SSPX, Pope Benedict XVI issued an apostolic constitution titled Sumorum Pontificum allowing the use of Latin and to use the extraordinary form of the Mass I hope this will remedy the rupture that exists.
