TRUST HIM Do you sometimes wonder whether you will make it in life? At times, when we go through life’s storms, it is difficult to look on the bright side of life. Through the vicissitudes of life, as Christians, we are encouraged to keep pressing on no matter what happens, no matter what comes. God’s love never promised to keep us away from trouble but it promises to see us through. “These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world” (John 16:33). The road to the Kingdom of God is not a bed of roses but one of thorns, snakes and scorpions, leading us to problems and troubles but through our storms, God always speaks strength and courage into our lives. Hold on to the promise that you will overcome. Don’t allow your situation to weigh you down. Don’t let your situation mislead you. Every day, stay true to your purpose despite snow or rain. Keep running the straight race through God’s good grace. God loves you just as much as he does any of His children. He promised never to leave or forsake you. Trust Him in good and hard times alike.
