Terry Lee Blohowiak, April 14, 2014 God was your final pilot. Fly high. Fly safely, Tango. Fly peacefully. Love, your family Terry was born in Green Bay to the late Anton and Jean (Offermann) Blohowiak. He attended St. Phillips grade school and graduated from Preble High School in 1966. He furthered his education and graduated from DeVry in Chicago. For his career, he worked as an electrician for P&G in Green Bay. He married Gail Buntin in 1970. Together they raised two beautiful children: son, Matthew (daughters Anna and Ellie) and daughter, Carrie. In retirement Terry enjoyed his time up north at his lake home near Lakewood and his winters in Poinciana, Florida. He made many friends in both locations. He enjoyed hunting, bowling, aircraft restoration, volunteering for the EAA, the Green Bay Packers and Nascar races. It was a goal to attend a race at every track. He made quite a few. Another of his life-long goals was to fly. He earned his first wings at age 16 and later again qualified after he retired. Terry was a son, brother, husband, father, grandpa, and uncle who suffered from a debilitating illness. He is survived by the mother of his children, Gail Buntin Blohowiak; daughter Carrie; son, Matthew and his two daughters, Anna and Ellie. He is further survived by his sister, Nancy Blohowiak Charlier and her children: Vickie (children Kegan and Keylee), Paul and his wife Liz. He is further survived by Kevin and Shelly Buntin, Great Aunts Justine Georgia, Arvilla Blohowiak, June Johnson and uncle, Robert Offermann, plus many cousins and friends, including a special childhood friend, Jim (Cindy) Costello. Special thanks go to Tom and Sandy Beckler, Bob and Barb Doktor, Joe Verdier, Terry’s friends in Solivita, FL, and friends “Up North” for their support and love during his life. There will be a celebration of Terry’s life at a future date. Condolences can be sent to the Blohowiak family at 2705 Agnes Street, Eau Claire, WI 54701. Charitable donations can also be made in Terry Blohowiak’s name and sent to the Jackie Nitschke Center, 630 Cherry Street, Green Bay, WI 54301. God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change; courage to change the things I can; and wisdom to know the difference.
