Thanks to a reminder from June Tilley of my poor effort last year, I was happy to spend a couple of hours on Sunday as a flag marshal at the Norseman Motorcycle Club “Quit” Pig Farm Classic. A great days racing was presented by the club and the many riders who participated including some very talented young’uns’ who would definitely have put me to shame. It was nice to see the mutual support from the Esperance and Goldfields MX Clubs and those competitors who travelled from elsewhere and interstate all adding to the quality of the event. The Norseman Motorcycle Club continually works to improve the facility and the track is one of the best in the state. They are also looking to build an onsite clubhouse. Thanks to all the wonderful folk who competed and the families and friends who supported them. And thank you to Caltex Norseman, Cuten Gunedar, Wilson’s Norseman Courier Service, Heathway and the Shire of Dundas for your sponsorship.
