Thanks to everyone who came out today March 18 at noon to support Carleton campus safety workers. It was a big success with many students and workers from other sectors, including Carleton TAs and profs showing their support. A lot of information was distributed to inform students and community members about the situation. See the new issue of the Leveller released today for an update about the strike. And dont forget to contact Carleton president Roseann Runte at 613-520-3801 or [email protected] and demand the university negotiate and deal with understaffing and low pay of campus safety workers, half of whom are also students. Thanks to the Ottawa and District Labour Council for organizing and pledging to support the campus workers on strike.
