Thanks to my FB friend Susan for posting this on the YOPD page. Hi, I just recently met another,creative Parkinsons person. Kathie is from New York and has lived in Europe and traveled extensively . She grew up knitting and crocheting which later evolved into jewelry making. Kathie was diagnosed in 2010 with Parkinsons disease. Since then she no longer had the fine motor skills for jewelry making so she reinvented her art. Kathie now repurposes furniture and creates wall art. She likes working with unusual and recycled materials. Kathie says creating art is a joy and quite therapeutic and she often donates her earnings to the Michael J Fox Foundation. She was looking for some marketing because her store is full so I offered to share her info on my page .
