The Big Bang Theory is more of a moniker. Nothing actually banged. The term was originally mocking, and it just stuck-- much the same way as Obamacare stuck to the Affordable Care Act. Whats also interesting about this rainbow theory is that it would debunk Genesis & go along with the core of Hinduism. It would follow the Vedic Shastra, where time, as well as the universe, is infinite &, thus has no beginning nor end. The Rainbow Theory- Does this mean we all get unicorns? This is just like the quasi steady state model. One problem with it though is it doesnt give us an explanation for Olbers paradox. The static universe was universally held until the Big Bang. The Big Bang Theory is an older, out-dated concept that was based mostly on classical Newtonian physics. Quantum mechanics has thrown a monkey wrench in the Big Bang... ... this is until, well... the ripples came along...
