The Bloomington Farmers Market has been doubling Food Stamps for a couple years. This is a great plan. For both the vendors and patrons. Shoppers can get $36 of market bucks to spend at the market for $18 of Food Stamps. Now the feds are putting some money behind it… This idea did not start on Capitol Hill.
