The Book I sat on the edge of my bed and opened the package and sure enough it was the book Collected Works of the Wingmakers Vol 1. I could’nt believe it, they had put an awesome picture of one of the renditions of Sovereign Integral. I loved it and for me it was a gift. I opened the book to the Epigraph. Epigraph- A short quotation or saying at the beginning of a book or chapter, intended to suggest its theme. It was a quote by the Buddha. I began to read outloud. “Rely not on the teacher but the teaching. Rely not on the words of the teaching, but on the spirit of the words. Rely not on theory but on experience. Do not believe in anything simply because you have heard it. Do not believe in traditions because they have been handed down for many generations. Do not believe anything simply because it is spoken or rumored by many. Do not believe in anything because it is written in your religious books. Do not believe in anything merely on the authority of your teachers or elders. But after observation and anylysis, when you find that anything agrees with reason and is conducive to the good and benefit of one and all, then accept it and live up to it”. Oh boy! this is going to be good. I read the Preface by John Berges with one line that stood out for me especially in relation to my brief interactions with him. The line that stood out reflected his genuineness and vision of hope for humanity. “ It is a humbling experience, but one filled with tremendous hope and confidence in the future of humanity” -John Berges, Editor. “ Suddenly I heard Dane, “ Daaaaadyyy” now coming into my room,” some weirdo on the phone who says he’s Captain Kirk”. Laughing I took the cordless and thanked Dane. “Heh Kirk” I can always tell when Kirk’s excited because his voice ramps up about ten decibels. This time it was about 20 decibels. “PHASER! OH MY GOD, DID YOU GET IT”? “ Calm down Kirk, I just got up man – get what”? Still excited, “ The Book, The Book, did you receive your copy of the Collective Works of the Wingmakers”? I received mine yesterday and I literally had to wrassle it out of the hands of the Borg. Can you believe it, Gertrude is reading it to. Once she saw all those beautiful colorful paintings and then started reading the poetry she would’nt give it back” “Yeah- Yeah Kirk I literally just opened mine and started looking at it.” “Kirk interrupted, “ Listen to this I got to read you some quotes from Mahu”. “On page X11” “You mean page 12” HUH? “Yeah that’s roman numerals for page 12”. “Oh! That’s what that means – I wondered – anyhow. Listen” He began to quote James “Spiritual Equality is the activator of the highest frequencies of love on the earth. The essence or quality of equality is what is coming to this planet. We are evolving into it and it into us…” Darkness is the absence of light and the diminishment of the higher frequencies of love…. While the time- forms of the human instrument come and go, the essence that is within you is unvarying in it’s will to radiate love into all places of darkness” “Listen to how he defines the term Wingmakers. This definition is a good way to speak with all your Ascended Masters Teaching friends, and religious and spiritual friends, with out challenging their Belief System. Here’s what he says – Get this Man”. As he began I could not believe that my Trekkie friend Kirk was quoting James Mahu to me, with passion no-less. I flipped to the page and read as he quoted. “ The term human derives from the Latin conjunction of homo (man) and hummus (earth). Thus human is an earthly being- descended from the earth, as opposed to God or some heavenly abode. The term WingMakers is encoded: “wing” is derived from the term wind or blow. It is the active force of setting new states into motion. “Makers” is the plurality of the co-creators- that being the collective essence of humanity. Thus WingMakers means that from the collective essence of humanity, new states of consciousness come into being. This is the meaning of the term Wingmakers, and it confers to humanity a new identity.” On page 13, ( Laughing) that is page XIII he says our human instruments will evolve. “ This new instrument will not resonate with greed, manipulation or separation. It will enable the human consciousness to include the spiritual consciousness in it’s decisions and objectives. This new instrument is what is waiting to be created on this planet”. …..”There are no rules or laws but one: to express the authentic nature of your heart by living a love-centered life”. “ It sounds easy doesn’t it? It is not. What is easy is to be an automaton and operate like a wind up toy that is pointed in the direction of consumption. In order to assert your heart’s nature, to express spiritual equality in your behaviors- requires a new sense of individuality- not existential but connected to all life. A genuine and grounded feeling of spiritual equality, not something held in the head as a concept, but practiced from the heart as a way of life” Paul, now I understand why you were telling me about the “Six Heart Virtues” and John Berges, When, Which, How Practice Guide. One last quote from page XVII. O.K ? “Go ahead man – my ears to the phone”. Mahu says and I quote: “ WingMakers is neither a path nor a teaching. It is simply a new way of living based on spiritual equality, and in this way of living it proposes not to judge but rather to distinguish carefully between the lower frequencies of separation and the higher frequencies of unity – one and all.” Lastly, on page XVIII. And this is the crux of it Phaser when your dealing with that array of spiritual jaugernaut friends of yours in those different communities quote what Mahu says here. “ WingMakers aspires simply to activate people to a higher understanding of spiritual equality through the experience of widening, deepening and broadening the portal between the individual and their spiritual center. This requires practice. It requires the individual to be the practitioner of their own spirituality not someone else’s. You can borrow whatever works for you, whatever resonates with your spiritual center, and you can take these seeds and scatter them around you, and perhaps they will grow into something that supports your journey. However, these seeds are already inside you. Do not deny the spiritual ground you walk on every moment of your life. Do not pretend that you are an automaton of a system that is designed by human or even extraterrestrial hands. You are free to believe and contemplate the higher frequencies of unity regardless of where you live, what your work is, how old you are, how educated you are or what your state of health is. If you practice this contemplation, if you bring self responsibility to your spiritual life and you express the messages of unity in your behaviors, what is it you can possibly lack?” After Kirk finished the quote I could here the Borg in the Background. “ Captain Kirk, It’s time for the Borg to assimilate more of the Collected Works of the WingMakers, it’s my turn Kirk – Oh you on the phone?” “Phaser, it’s time to beam out, the Borg needs more assimilation. And a deep hearted appreciation for telling me about this book. Thank-you. Then Gertrude put her mouth to the phone, “ Yeah thanks Kirk, I love the poetry and the paintings.” “Kirk out” “Bye Kirk” your welcome. I put the book down to get some breakfast thinking I can’t wait to read John Berge’s Commentary.
