The Caterpillar to Butterfly metamorphosis has always been one of the coolest/scariest things Ive ever seen. Now while metamorphosis and evolution are two different things, this is hands down the easiest way to see how one thing can become another thing, right before your very eyes instead of happening over thousands of years. Can you imagine if humans were just babies for a short time, then cocoon themselves, becoming half goo and half essential body organs/innards, and a week and a half later, coming out as a completely different majestic flying creature?! Its so weird to watch. Also, the cocoon process looks like the most painful thing Ive ever witnessed in my life....haha.
