“The Gifted” Album by Nigerian Rapper Wale Hits Number One Spot on US Billboard ‘The Gifted’, an album released on June 25 by Olubowale Victor Akintimehin also known as Wale has knocked out Kanye West’s ‘Yeezus’ from the number one spot on Billboard Top 200 albums chart. This is after it sold 158,000 copies in its first week. This development gives the Nigerian-American rapper the break he has been in pursuit of for over a decade now. Wale becomes the third Rapper after Kanye West and ASAP Rocky to hit number one in the albums chart this year. The MMG artiste’s second album ‘Ambition” premiered at number two with 164,000 copies sold in the first week of its release in November 2011.
