The Iron Range Real Regional Players has a busy season ahead! Auditions for a musical version of The Gifts of the Magi, by O. Henry will take place at The Loft, 516 ½ Chestnut Street, Virginia on Thursday October 9 from 6:30-8PM. Bring sheet music for a song to sing, accompanist provided, and be prepared to read from the script. Cast includes three males and three females. This show will be performed on November 28, 29, 30, December 3(a matinee) and 6 and 7, at The Loft. Our regular New Year’s Eve(and the night before) interactive murder mystery dinner performance is also being produced. Auditions for PEACE, LOVE, ….and MURDER will be held on November 11 from 6-7:30PM at The First Stage, 514 Chestnut Street. For these auditions, actors will read from the script. This cast consists of 4 men and 3 women. For both shows, rehearsal schedules will be based on actors availability. When you appear at auditions, please have a complete list of conflicts between auditions and performances. IRRRP is a regional community theatre company based at the Lyric Center for the Arts, 514 Chestnut Street in Virginia. We support the development of this facility as it will be a fabulous home for us, as well as a great asset to our entire region. If you are interested in joining us, no matter your level of experience, just show up, we’re waiting for you. There are many things to do that do not I involve being on stage, and we truly appreciate the people willing to take on those tasks.
