The Joe Rogan Experience Podcast The Duncan Trussell Family Hour Obama Peter DeFazio When Pigs Fly - was a favorite saying of many of my friends when I would talk about leaving my home of 30 years in Eugene, Oregon - The fillmore Home! I kept looking and looking for a new place to live that felt right AND in 2004 I found a home I loved and Yes! moved into it. Pigs did fly! One of my fav decorating motifs in that home was in fact pigs flying! Today there is a deep and true desire for change in this country we call US. There is a feeling of not being safe from those who are meant to protect us and our civil rights and liberties. There is distrust and dischord and downright fear. and YES! I wonder what would happen if all the facebook and twitter people put their status as putting wings on pigs? Would the social media and the police go wild. Could this be the tipping point . Would change really happen Good honest change where the citizens of US feel like real citizens and NOT like members of some terrorist nation we US fight against where the only civil rights are execution without representation. Mr Barack Obama has done so much to change this country and keep it headed in the direction we all beleive in. A direction where citizens are PEOPLE and not the enemies of the state intended for patrol, prison or even death before trial. Today Im wondering WHO will take his place when the time comes to choose another leader. As an Oregonian I have watched so many of my representatives in congress work hard for he rights of the people - even beyond what i necessary such as creating and introducing bills in congress for Veterans to be allowed to use Medical Marijuana to help with Pain and PTSD- this is revolutionary! And worthy of office as the highest in the land. I dont know the politics behind who gets picked to run for office to create and by executive authority change the laws of our land but I am hoping that once again We the US citizens get an opportunity to choose a President who will take the interests of The People with care consideration and True Vision as Mr. Obama has done.
