The Lord told me to "Speak my mind." So here it goes. If people are not digging in the Word of God and developing a strong relationship with Jesus Christ - they are most likely too pre-occupied with dating, extracurricular activities, and engagement proposals. They are the would be followers of Christ Jesus who are not developing a stronger relationship with our Lord & Savior. A man asked Jesus if he could follow Him but then said He needed to bury his father first in a funeral/grave site. Jesus said to him - let the dead bury the dead and follow me - I dont even have a pillow to lay my head on at this point. The Bible talks about people who are not worthy of Jesus Christ and if anyone is "in love" with a boyfriend/girlfriend or fiancé to be married - their heart is not entirely focused on Jesus Christ, the Lover of our Souls - the One Bridegroom we should want to be married to. If Jesus Christ literally knocked on your door, told you to dump your boyfriend, asked for your hand in marriage (as he is getting married to many members of the Bride of Christ who ARE worthy of Him) and asked for you to read the entire Old and New Testament with Him - would you do it???????? If your answer is no - I would look in the mirror and question my salvation at that point. Time is very short and people are NOT worthy of my Lord & Savior still to this very day and it makes my Lord Jesus cry to much. If you died tomorrow - where would you go? Lastly, here is a set of verses you may want to look at: DO NOT fall in violation of these verses: Luke 13:23-30 KJV Then said one unto him, Lord, are there few that be saved? And he said unto them, 24 Strive to enter in at the strait gate: for many, I say unto you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able. 25 When once the master of the house is risen up, and hath shut to the door, and ye begin to stand without, and to knock at the door, saying, Lord, Lord, open unto us; and he shall answer and say unto you, I know you not whence ye are: 26 Then shall ye begin to say, We have eaten and drunk in thy presence, and thou hast taught in our streets. 27 But he shall say, I tell you, I know you not whence ye are; depart from me, all ye workers of iniquity. 28 There shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth, when ye shall see Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, and all the prophets, in the kingdom of God, and you yourselves thrust out. 29 And they shall come from the east, and from the west, and from the north, and from the south, and shall sit down in the kingdom of God. 30 And, behold, there are last which shall be first, and there are first which shall be last. DO NOT BE THRUST OUT - JESUS IS VERY PICKY WHO HE ACCEPTS AS PART OF THE BRIDE OF CHRIST!!!!!!
