The Morung Express 7 March 2013 Thursday, Dimapur State level training on SJSRY/proposed NULM begins Dimapur, March 6: The inaugural function of State level training on ‘SJSRY/proposed NULM & Social Sector Convergence- Convergence with various schemes’ was held today at Bookmarc Conference Hall, Dimapur. The two-days training will take place on March 6 and 7 and is conducted by the Indian Institute of Entrepreneurship (IIE), and organised under the Ministry of Housing & Urban Poverty Alleviation, GOI. The inaugural session was followed by an overview on the Swarna Jayanti Shahari Rozgar Yojana by Chenithung, urban Development Officer. Er. Tali Longchar, Deputy Director, MSME Dimapur also presented ‘MSME Schemes for Urban Development’, and later ‘Importance of Tool Room Scheme of MSME-Dl’ was presented by Er. Petehetuo Miasalhou, AGM, MSME Tool Room Centre’. Participants from various NGO’s, Self Help groups and departments like NIDC, DMC took part in the training. The second day of the training will witness discussion on ‘Marketing of Urban SHG product’ by Jainul ali Brand Marketing Consultant, Delhi, KVIC schemes by B Das, IIE, Guwahati. The discussion is to be followed by skill development training and certificate distribution to all the participants.
