The PRIDE PARADE Starts at 1:00pm SHARP ( the only person that can delay that is the Chief of Police himself, trust me on this and a few officials has his number on speed dial)... and if you are marching in the parade.. without a vehicle/ float / car and belong to a group, you have a designated area. Show up before 1pm.. DO NOT SHOW UP LATE.. or you will NOT GET IN... If you are part of a float or suppose to be ON a car/float/vehicle.. then you head to your staging area on Rosedale Valley Road, the Pride Toronto instructions are quite clear .. you CANNOT jump on and off the vehicle once the parade starts for your own safety and to ensure the Parade does not have any delays.. and It does not matter who you are showing up Late you will NOT GET IN PERIOD.. I am speaking from experiences, there was a time when I was second in command, Safety and Security in charge of Access Control for the whole damn site.. and we being Officials were stuck in the parade route once the parade started.. dont matter who you are.. things are barricaded off and people are jammed on both sides of the parade route.. you will NOT be able to get in if you show up late..
