The Spirit of Adoption: For you did not receive the spirit of slavery leading again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption, by whom we cry, “Abba, Father (Romans 8:15). Once We were in a slavery to the world. Were Slavery to the desires of our flesh, desires of our hearts. And so we have been trapped in the cunning trap of satan. We have been longing and running for the blessings. We have been seeking and searching for our blessings in the every area of our life. We have been thinking that blessings are the reward of our work to gain it. But God so loved the world, and so He gave up His only begotten son for us. And by His redemption and the work He did in the cross, we have received the blessings. He have adopted us, as His sons and daughters by the Cross. We are His sons and daughters. Cheer up. The banner of son or daughter is the only eligible to get the possession from the father. This is even among the worldly people. And for us too. He have bought us by the Blood of Christ. We are His sons and daughters now. Blessing, is not a single blessing. It is like a package of blessing. He didnt mention a single blessing. But blessings in every area of our life. Blessing in health. Blessing in wealth. Blessing with children. Blessing with peace. He makes us to sleep with peace every night. To inherit the worldly treasure, the sons or a daughter has to confess and claim that so and so is my father. And so am the kin of him and the next possessor for his possessions. Like that also, for our blessings in this world, we have to confess and claim the relationship of ours, and possession what He have earned at the Cross for us. The devil is been trying to hide the treasures and the blessings, what Christ have earned at the cross from our eyes. But it is for us. Confess and claim it, to inherit the blessings. Be a follower of God, as His dear children (Ephesians 5:1). The same thing has been translated like this, imitate God, therefore in everything you do, because you are His dear children (NLT). A father will be very much happy, when his childs doing resembled him. Like that our Heavenly Father will also be happy when we inherit the blessings and live a blessed to the world. So that through him we both have access in one Spirit to the Father. So then you are no longer foreigners and noncitizens, but you are fellow citizens with the saints and members of God’s household (Ephesians 2:18,19).
