The city Department of Environmental Conservation, despite early talk of a substantially higher increase, is proposing a rate hike of just 3.35 percent this year. Expect the Water Board, with members hand-picked by the mayor, to rubber-stamp it without question. Only 3.35%. Yup, bet Bobby Zahn will have a pithy comment about that one. Are you BENT OVER enough yet, folks? Nah.....there WILL be more....
