The following are three responses to a post about the healthcare plan. They are written by My sister in law. She is a registered nurse that KNOWS what she is talking about. This plan, the UNaffordable healthcare act, is nothing more than the POTUS grand plan to redistrubute the wealth. Take from haves and give to the have nots. It was also designed to fail, in my opinion. The next step will most likely be a single payor system. Universal healthcare: delivered with the efficiency of the post office, the compassion of the IRS, at Pentagon prices. I grieve for America and the ultimate demise of the middle class. The POTUS will trot out a true hardship case, and we all know they exist, and crow about how ocare will offer them affordable healthcare for the first time but ignore all the cases of able bodied folks who choose to not work; choose to spend their welfare money on tatooes, cigs, pot, piercings, legal or illegal substances, booze, choose to have kids out of wedlock even though baby daddy works so mama baby can continue to qualify for medicaid. They can afford iPhones, iPads, the latest laptops, PS3s, xBox360s, Niintendo Wis, PSVitas, vacations, cars, etc. And what is most disappointing about it is the ENTITLEMENT attitude. no shame. Perfectly acceptable. I see the above examples every day that I work. The American public would be as hopping mad as I if they knew what I know. The libs complain about corporate welfare, how that has to end. Be careful what you wish for especially if you work for a corporation FP or NFP that is receiving government funding. It might be the end of your job. At least corporations work for their welfare check. Theyre not sitting on their couches in their snoopy boxer shorts, smoking a cancer stick, drinking a beer, watching their 72 screen HD TV. I am now stepping off my soap box. Rant over.... For now.Kathy Wright. Youre right. Fewer donations to homeless shelters, Salvation Army, church benevolence fund, outreach, world missions, etc. just breeds more dependency on the federal government. What a vicious cycle. No one will really understand politics until they understand that politicians are not trying to solve our problems.
