The following statement is not a claim but clarity.Aha Muzvare is an official title and translated it means Princess or Her Royal Highness.Muzvare is a Maungwe word a form of main language Shona. The title is a birthright to every girl born in our tribe but as you achieve it is bestowed on you and thats why my title goes hand with Chitsotso the sacred mountain.There was gender equality in Zimbabwe well before colonialism no wonder Musha Mukadzi remains an all classic proverb meaning Home is so because of a woman. There are some great traditions that accorded women power and men from the other century in my village respect me more as Muzvare than gender activist.
