The most fundamental difference between the Quran and the Bible Question: What is the most fundamental difference between the Quran and the Bible Answer: The difference ; Quran is the word of God that it includes most of history , while the Bible is a book of history that most of it contains the word of God . sample verse : 1 . Joshua got up early in the morning , then he and all the Israelites set out from Shittim , and came to the Jordan , They camped there before crossing . 2 . After three days , the officers go through the whole camp , 3 . and gave orders to the people, he said : When you see the ark of the covenant of the Lord your God , and the priests , who are Levites, then you must also set out from your place and follow it - 4 . just between you and the ark there should be a gap of about two thousand cubits long , do not approach it - it means that you know the path you need to take, because the way that youve never been through before. 5 . Joshua said to the people, Consecrate yourselves , for tomorrow the Lord will do miraculous things among you . 6 . And to the priests Joshua said , thus : Take up the ark of the covenant and crossed in front of the nation . Then they carried the ark of the covenant and walk in front of the nation . 7 . And the Lord said to Joshua, Today I begin to exalt you in the sight of all Israel , that they may know that as I was with Moses, so I will be with thee . 8 . Then you enjoin the priests carrying the ark of the covenant , saying, When you get to the edge of the waters of the Jordan , you shall stand still in the Jordan . ( Joshua 3:1-8 ) . In the above verses there is history and there is the word of God . Part history began to paragraph 1 to paragraph 6 and the word of God , beginning at verse 7 ( start the sentence : Today I ... ) to paragraph 8 . I refer to paragraph 1-6 as history , reason : because no word preceded God to Joshua . people who write these verses are not contemporary people living with Joshua and knowing the stories of Joshua from the stories of Joshua are widely spread in the nation of Israel . History spread from mouth to mouth ( oral tradition ) is not always fixed but always changing . the farther the author with historical sources , the bias is also history ( until the story of the history can be written ) . Another reason why the verses 1-6 is not the word of God is not possible because God gave Joshua the word about the personal lives of the people of Israel while they can see for themselves the personal life of Joshua . Verses 7-8 I refer to as the word of God , why: because in God s words to Joshua preceded . but because of the word of God to be a part of history that can and continue to change before written , then we need to be very extra careful in its application in everyday life . In the Bible there are the books that much more write the words of God , and there are books that are much more write histories of Israel . Examples of books that wrote more >> word of God > history
