The blessing of The Lord is a result of obedience to the word and voice of God.Remember when Isaac went to Abimelech King of the Philistines in Gerar on account of drought.Isaac benefiting from the Abrahamic blessing, obeyed the word of The Lord s commands, laws and decrees.It is vital to remember that we also are beneficiaries of and entitled to the Abrahamic blessing promised to all nations including Zimbabwe.Genesis 26v3-6. Because of the promise of the Abrahamic blessing, Isaac ended up becoming very rich and wealthy in harvest, flocks , herds and servants that the philistines envied him.Isaac even revived the wells of fresh water namely; Esek, Sitnah,Rehoboth and Shibah which the Philistines had stopped after Abraham had died It is very normal to have drought moments for a season but certainly abnormal to have drought for the whole life.During our moments of lack we might even get subjected to strangers (the philistines) but we should never submit to them.Our God is faithful. When we go through our drought moments, we must remain obedient and loyal to the laws, commands and decrees of God.A blessing of The Lord which adds no sorrow is sure to come in due season.We must wait upon The Lord for His due and faithful rewards.
