There is a lot of how comes and why’s going through my mind like how come people do practice what they preach “care and love thy neighbor”? Why are the poor (and those who have insurance) against the affordable care act even though it may help them? How come some “whites” are afraid of racial groups and filled with hate? It seems to me that those who don’t have health insurance would be happy that they can get insurance to help them in case of an emergency or those that was diagnosed before or during that they can’t be disqualified because of their condition. But there is so many that are so against it because it wasnt the “American” dream that it was in the so called past. I know people are scared of changes and that the rumors and myths of government being involved can deceive some of the ignorant. But is there really that many? Why shouldnt a government take care of it’s own people?! It’s not just for the rich white people to have the right to live and see their families grow. Why are they so much more privileged to have the appropriate care but not the middle or poor class? Pharmaceutical companies, Insurance companies, and doctors can play God on who has the chance to live and who doesnt. They tend to forget that what their profession was started “for to help for the greater of the good”. Not for the money. It’s sad when you see people of poor, middle class, and the people who have served the country to die or have to go to another country (if they can) to seek treatments to their disease or get medication, but we can’t provide it here because we have become a slave to corporations for the so called “independence” of living on your own. Middle class has a little bit of a chance and a choice to do something but the poor they have no choice if they fall ill they suffer until the end comes upon them. But the rich has unlimited chances and choices. What’s fair about that whey they don’t work for their living while the rest of us work for them to have that luxury? Who is the one’s now playing god like figure? It seems like there is a lot of hatred for Obama for the changes he is creating to make America a better place to live in and a country who can compete with it’s following neighbor countries along with ones around the world. Congress is constantly struggling to compromise with each other on issues such as the Affordable Care Act and leave with a deadlock and nothing accomplished. Whether they want to say it is or not the racial issue is looking like the cause of it. Though the Old Republicans didnt like Clinton but they still worked things out to get the job done. Democrats didnt like Bush but they still compromised to get the job done. But here we have Obama, the first black president, and suddenly congress goes in to shut down and unwilling to work. I’m proud that Obama isn’t backing down on what he wants accomplished and that he is fighting for a better future for the American people to live the American dream. Whether they know it or not the Affordable Care Act will help them when the time arises. With all the underlying racial issues it’s bleeding into the police forces in the states. Not the federal agencies but the state local police. Police shooting at a young black mother with her five kids in the car is unacceptable no matter what the case was. Zimmerman found not guilty even though he shot a 17 year old black child, Tryvon Martin, coming back from the store unarmed. But some got twisted to where it was poor Zimmerman because he so threatened and somehow that was OK cause he looks white but his ethnicity is Hispanic origin. But the public will turn it’s head to that fact cause he was standing his ground. Our Supreme Court decides to invalidate the most important voting rights to it’s people thinking that racial issues arent an issue of today’s world even though it’s still there. Lot of Southern states have reverted back to the old days restricting certain people from voting which are primarily black voters. Where have we lost our voice to stick up for our rights? How many people, kids have to be shot and held back to realize the harm it’s doing? A 17 year old black girl, Rendisha McBride, having car issues at 4 am goes to house seeking help and gets shot in the face by a shotgun. Does this not wake anyone? This is already up 2 innocent 17 year olds gone erased from the planet due to mean spirited people. Not saying this isnt happening to white and/or other racial group of children either by all means. But it’s becoming more and more evident as time goes on. We need another reform or justice in the police force to keep them from going to the extreme they are going on. Where is the next J. Edgar Hoover and when can they stop the corruption in the police force? I’m tired of hearing “Whites” primarily but there are others saying they don’t want foreigners taking their jobs. And that they shouldnt get to vote and work here, and that they need to speak English. These so called people don’t realize they arent taking “their” jobs. They do jobs that no one in their right mind will do for such little cost, which is why they should have rights for better working conditions. They arent taking office jobs and I don’t see them running a multi-million dollar company and giving shitty wages and conditions. Some of them want to but don’t know where to go to learn English. Some knows how to speak some but is too afraid to talk because they don’t want to butch the language up and look stupid. They want to be taken serious as you and I when we speak. It’s not easy to speak a different language and especially to learn the English Language. Plus a lot of our foreign “invaders” spends a lot of money helping our economy grow. They are the ones who go and buy a bunch of stuff for their families that live here with them. The sad thing about this whole thing is it is all on racial, ethnicity, gender issues. Scared that we are going to be considered the weak and put into a slave state for either as revenge from the past, or just cause is a reality to some of these white people. But what they don’t realize they are already a slave they are a slave to their jobs, a slave to the corporate of America and not the government. They work and give the people who own these companies the dreams that they dreamed of but destroy their own in the working process to make a decent living. These companies wouldnt be where they are at without their people working for them. Papa John’s who during the second term election for Obama and the talk of Obamacare threatened to cut it’s employees because they couldnt pay their employees. But tell me Papa John’s makes 3 billion dollars (Not $3,000 but Billion!) and saying it can’t afford to pay their employees? That tells me that greed has taken over that they don’t want to give a portion of the profits to those who made it possible for them to become a chain restaurant. The workers get paid low minimum wage if not lower, and don’t have health care. But with the amount they are making as a whole company they can actually not only pay their employees a better pay wage but also insurance for them as well. No excuse! Walmart, Target is also in the same vote! No difference at all. These CEOs and Presidents has become the scrooges of America and haven’t realized it’s people that works for them make it possible without them they will be destroyed and will end up where their workers are at if they don’t change. It’s time for America to wake up and stick up for what they deserve. They deserve to spend time with their families and not have to work 3-4 jobs to support themselves. It shouldnt matter what race or ethnicity they are, everyone deserves to be happy! We are all human, we have a brain body parts the same the only difference is the color of our skin, color of hair and texture, color of eyes. Let’s stop looking at our differences and see the similarities and work together to make a better future! We all deserve to be happy.
