Theres something really scary about the new atheists thats hard to pin point, but I think clips like this reveal a bit of their close mindedness and aggression. Here we see the prophet of the new atheists, Archduke Dawkins, take one radical feminists (admittedly, pretty silly) argument and use that to paint all feminism as silly. Listen to the arrogant guffaws from the audience as The Great Leader Dawkins reads. The problem is the new atheists are ignoring quite a lot of other important, rational work when they vilify anything thats been touched by what they pejoratively dub postmodern, feminist, pseudoscientific, or religious. And what really gets me are the comments below the video. It doesnt seem to be the case of a few bad eggs or a few Internet idiots making dumb comments.
