This afternoon I ran my first sub 1:30:00 half marathon at around 6:51 pace (previous PR was 7:26 pace). I feel amazing and I could not have done it without inspiration from friends/idols: Chris Vargo, Sally McRae (I watched Western Time last night (check the link below)), Dusty Frey. Daniel Arthur Jacobson , & Jordan Hogan. I am far from where I want to be on distance and pace but I am improving and after watching Sallys film I set out this afternoon believing I could do it, and I did it. I dont post on Facebook very often but I am too excited about life to keep quiet. Also, I quit my job and Im moving out west next week. Sunday is my last night in NC and Ill spend a few days in IN next week before adventuring out, so lets get a beer!! No time to rest. Im gonna find my a life, baby, way out west.
