This has been an interesting celebration of our countrys birthday for me.....thankful for the blessings I enjoy everyday because of our founding fathers, thankful that my Daddy was one of those of the Greatest Generation that were brave and strong and believed enough in our great country and beliefs to risk life or limb to assure that we would continue to have that freedom and liberty to express and enjoy, but, most of all..... today, celebrating all of the above.....which has made the rest of this post relevant......As I get older I am becoming so much more aware that this love of country and the ideals and beliefs of what those founding fathers intended should be passed to our next generation....I am thankful to have friends of all ages .... 20s to the 80s....Lots and lots of political differences, religious beliefs, but, we still remain friends...Examine your beliefs, research if confused, read the wishes of those founding fathers! Now we call that America!. I am enjoying seeing a grandchild interact with my generation of friends and that she is actually enjoying sharing time and opportunities of communication! What a wonderful gift to my precious grandchild! Opportunity for that to take place is a planned situation waiting to happen! THANKFUL ME! Guess what I intended to say was.....GOD BLESS THE USA! Thankful for my family, thankful for my friends and thankful to be an American!
