This has been one emotional day... This morning I woke up thinking about this time last year. On the first day of school last year I dropped my kids off and headed to Lexington for my treatment. Yes I know that the first day of school is hard at many age but as I watched my kids put their backpacks today I truly realize time does not stand still. It continues on with or without us... After already being emotionally cause of memories of last year, my kids growing up on me and the fact my baby looked like a big kid, I got the news from oncologist that my test came back bad and had to be send off for more test. I battled cancer last year and frankly Im tired of that C word. Is it too much to ask to be able to be healthy and be able to raise my children?! Someone needs to find a cure for this ugly disease!!!
