This is beyond sad but the worst part is...things like this happen all the time. Maybe not to this extent, but people dont always think about what happens in hospitals or nursing homes behind closed doors. Yes we should be able to trust the people who are appointed to do these jobs and care for our loved ones...but sadly theres very few that you can trust. People get mistreated, abused, & pretty much just left to sit alone in silence. Not only should there be a bill making sure staff at VAs do their jobs but every hospital, nursing home and home care agency. No aide or nurse should be alone with a patient or client and their should always be cameras...I understand how it can be a violation of privacy but they can make it for only the family members to see...it could save a life in the end. Dont take a job like this just because you need one, this job takes a big heart, love for strangers, & more compassion than what should be humanly possible. ♡
