~This passage maybe a little too long for you guys to read but I beg your patience to read it and help me as well as my hometown!~ I am an exchange student this year from Hong Kong to Austria. Im sorry for disturbing all your mood in the World Cup and I would like to share a petition to you and wish that you can help to sign and share it as well! Hong Kong was the colony of Britian, and we have been returned to China since 1997, almost 17 years until now. As the policy difference between China and Hong Kong before (which China and Hong Kong are adopting Communism and Capitalism respectively), China approved us to run Hong Kong ourselves, that we dont have to get back to the China politics and continue our own system before. Its called One Country, Two System. It leaves us a lot of freedom, we can have all the human rights for example freedom of speech which is really restricted in China. We can go to Facebook and YouTube freely as you guys doing them everyday. We can express our views and opinions and dont need to be afraid to be caught by the police. However, China have released The White Paper in 10th June, 2014 about this One Country, Two System about Hong Kong. They want to take back our freedom. Through this 17 years, a lot of us felt that is just a curtain of One Country, Two System, China still controls all our politics behind. We cant do anything to help ouselves. We are afraid of the day when we are totally returned to China, and we cant have our freedom anymore. For you, it might be just a topic to study, a news to read everyday, but it really badly hurts our freedom. We would like to get our hope to Britian, help us to pressure China to withdraw this treaty, and return the freedom to us! We need your help, to save our future!!!!
