This picture was taken high in the Swiss Alps, at Murren, Switzerland, Spring, 1974. Maharishi is walking from the Hotel de Palace, and to his right is Susan Waterson; to his left is me, then Dr. Susie Dillbeck. This was a great day for me, because Id just become secretary, so twas one of the first times I carried Maharishis deerskin. Its a good snap of what it was like for us in those days. We lived in a brilliant world, with a unique culture, a friendly family; surrounded by interesting people speaking dozens of languages, talking about everything from the Vedas to Science, studying maps of the world, residing in resplendent Swiss hotels in postcard settings, and we were so young and full of energy and great ideals to change ourselves and change the would. Sure seems long, long ago doesnt it? If you werent there it would be hard to imagine. We got very, very lucky. And look: even today were very lucky.
