This song came about as a result of a chance encounter with a girl in a club on South Congress Ave (SoCo) in Austin...I noticed the scent of her perfume and asked what it was...She told me she mixed some raspberry scent with a little vanilla...I told her she should bottle it and sell it...For some reason I thought of the song Raspberry Beret by Prince, or whatever he call himself these days, and started singing it changing the words to Raspberry Perfume...And I told her jokingly that I would write a song about it..And well,, a few days later I did and this is how it turned out !!! wremember to wrock and wroll and wrant and wrave and wrelate wresponsibly...wrecks (rex)
