This week I have had the pleasure of a 2 hour private maths workshop with two parents who werent able to attend a day time workshop due to work commitments. In the first workshop we covered addition and subtraction and in the next we will cover multiplication and division. What was great about having a private session was the methods we were covering were age appropriate to their children. We had time to learn methods that are covered in schools, take the time to work on maths problems and talk about specific issues related to their own children all in the comfort of our classroom with lots of tea and cake too!
