Those who think my pony interest came out of nowhere, clearly dont know me. Crazy collecting? Havent seen my generation 1 Pokemon collection, or my Garfield the cat collection. I like collecting things. Didnt know I watched cartoons? Really didnt know me, since thats the main media Ive watched a long time and Im including anime in this case. That Id get into something so girly? Its never really been a deterrent for me and Ive watched girly things before. My two first friends I ever had were girls (Alysha and Katie). I dont know why society places such strict rules on whats acceptable for each gender. That Id take it this far? I take everything Im interested in too far, I know this. For 6th grade Halloween I went as a Pokemon trainer, I had Ashs hat, gloves, vest, a working pokedex, and pokeballs on my belt that launched pokemon figures when you hit the button on the front. I could go on with a list of a lot of things Ive taken too far. Im having fun though, and I say everyone should do what makes them happy...as long as it doesnt hurt anyone. Ponies? I was a little surprised too, I was never interested in the creatures. Now theyve become one of my favorite animals (it transfered a bit). When I was younger I did have a horse care game from my friend that I enjoyed. Maybe an unrealized interest in horses, though I find the cartoon ones far more awesome. Its just the characters. As its been shown a few times it doesnt really matter what form they take, they are still awesome. Those horse jokes are priceless though. And the serious world they live in with war and political unrest is just amplified by the fact they are ponies.
