*** Thursday Treat Time! This week we Feature Benjamin James Skevington (23) from Durban and How He has overcome the challenges to achieve Success. >What is your line of work: Information Technology >What were the challenges u had to face: Living with ADHD – Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, otherwise known as ‘Awesome Disorder’. I basically can’t focus for more than 10 seconds without zoning out and going ‘vrooooing’. If you had to look at my brain on a graph there would be like lines, like a huge like spike, like a huge sine graph and then like massive break, for like 20 second and then a huge spike, and then a lot of little spikes. That’s basically my brain. I like bunnies and distractions and sorry im going off topic here >What were ur worst fears: Not making it in life. And I don’t mean successful and money and having lots of girls run after me and pretty. My biggest fear in life is not pleasing my parents, not pleasing myself, not being happy with who I am >How did u overcome them to get to where u are nw: I made peace with who I am, it took me about 5-6 years but I’ve got to that place where I am at peace with who I am in Christ, with how I look, how I behave, how fat I am: u know, slap the tummy ride the wave waaaatt??? Tummy surfer. I studied my butt off, I flopped at university, I let myself fail so that I can become a pass for everyone else. >What are ur dreams: my dream is to be riding unicorns *YaY*. My biggest dream is to work internationally. Somewhere like Hawaii or Mozambique in a mission. Not so that I can boast about it but to serve God with young people. >If u have a tendency towards community upliftment, if so what is it: What do u mean? Like uplifting people, picking them up and throwing you in the air or like throwing banana peels at you. What you talking about girl *southern accent*. Oh my Gosh, oh my goodness, damnn. No seriously, helping people where I can through IT. I don’t charge sometimes, I do a lot of work for probono or whatever its called, for the glory of God and I like to help people and spend time with people. I worked at an old age home and they are really lonely. They need young people to come hang out with them and listen to their stories a thousand times and just talk with them and have tea with them and eat cookies and braid their hair. It’s a big thing to spend time with people is a big thing, especially teenagers, hanging out and helping them out and going one on one. Listening to their issues and just being a bigger brother I suppose. A big awesome brother. >>Hope U enjoyed our Thursday Treat by Magnify AdzNPromos pin:20c523c2 magnifyenter@gmail @MagnifyAdzPromo magnify_enterprise 0744046913
