Ponty’s Big Weekend is back for 2014 over 2 day’s Saturday 19th and Sunday 20th July and will see a host of stars take to the stage in the Beautiful grounds of Ynysangharad War memorial Park Pontypridd. A galaxy of stars, a whole host of local talent and a fine array of up-and-coming stars of the future all feature at Ponty’s Big Weekend 2014. Headlining the Council’s two-day music festival at Ynysangharad War Memorial Park in Pontypridd – on Sunday, July 20 - will be chart-topping boy band Union J, supported by X Factor winner Sam Bailey, Rough Copy, Damage, Loveable Rogues, Tich, The Parades and also Hollywood Ending. Meanwhile, on Saturday, July 19, the ‘nation’s favourite choir’ Only Men Aloud headline a FREE family concert at Ynysangharad War Memorial Park, hosted by West End star Connie Fisher. Also on the bill will be X Factor contestant Lucie Jones, 57 Chevy, and many more local acts yet to be announced. Ponty’s Big Weekend 2014 is proudly brought to you by Rhondda Cynon Taf Council, Orchard Entertainment and Capital FM.
