To All Contractors, Consultants and Developers in the Building and Construction Sector Abu Dhabi City Municipality – EHS Division calls upon all contractors working in building and construction sector in Abu Dhabi City, to take precautions and care during construction activities execution in adverse rainy, windy & foggy weather. All necessary control measures to eliminate or minimize related accident occurrence should be implemented. The supervision consultants for these projects shall ensure and follow-up the adherence to these control measures for the following activities: 1. Lifting Operations: For any lifting related activities, it is highly recommended that weather forecast must be checked to ensure safe systems of work. Please visit new.ncms.ae/arabic/forecasts.htm for weather updates and refer to EHS Center - CoP 34.0 for other relevant requirements including applicable laws/rules & regulations. 2. Excavations & Related Activities: Ensure that all precautionary measures are in place. Refer to EHS Center - CoP 29.0 for further details and other applicable laws/rules & regulations. 3. Electrical Operations & Related Electrical Activities: They should be controlled by complying to a safe systems of work. Refer to EHS Center - CoP 15.0 & relevant other applicable laws/rules & regulations. 4. Working at height activities: Ensure all required fall protection measures are in place & secure any light materials from falling. Refer to EHS Center - CoP 23.0 & relevant applicable laws/rules & regulations. 5. Lightweight materials to be stored and covered for traffic road safety. 6. Temporary fence shall be fixed properly and ensure their proper alignment specifically for construction sites near any roads. 7. Emergency Response Team (ERT) should be visible and available in such severe weather conditions. 8. Conduct immediate EHS inspections for your construction sites and the entire area surrounding it. 9. Any accumulation of water (floods) should be communicated immediately to all concerned or to any relevant government authority. 10. Related to fog and rain; to increase the reporting and flashing of lights along road barriers and sign boards. 11. View the wind speed of the safe lifting operation recommended by the manufacture specification for the lifting equipment. إعلان تدعو بلدية مدينة أبوظبي – ادارة البيئة والصحة والسلامة – كافة شركات المقاولات العاملة في قطاع البناء والإنشاء في مدينة أبوظبي توخي الحيطة و الحذر أثناء تنفيذ الأعمال الإنشائية أثناء هطول الامطار وهبوب الرياح الشديدة في المواقع الإنشائية واتخاذ كافة التدابير والاحتياطات الضرورية الكفيلة بمنع و تقليل فرص وقوع الحوادث التي قد تنتج من ذلك، وعلى المكاتب الاستشارِية الالتزام بالإشراف والمتابعة والتأكد من تطبيق هذه التدابير للأنشطة التالية: 1- عمليات الرفع (ضرورة متابعة حالات الطقس عن طريق زيارة الموقع الالكتروني هيئة الارصاد الجويةnew.ncms.ae/arabic/forecasts.htmبشكل مستمر ومطابقة دليل الممارسات رقم 34 لمركز البيئة والصحة والسلامة وكافة القوانين والتشريعات المعنية ذات الصلة). 2- عمليات الحفر (ضرورة دعم جوانب الحفر بصورة أمنة وفنية تضمن تجنب انزلاق التربة بما يتوافق الالتزام بإجراءات دليل الممارسات رقم 29 لمركز البيئة والصحة والسلامة). 3- التوصيلات الكهربائية ( استخدام التوصيلات المناسبة، احكام الحماية للوحات بما يتوافق الالتزام بإجراءات دليل الممارسات رقم 15 لمركز البيئة والصحة والسلامة). 4- العمل على الارتفاعات العالية ( من خلال التأكد من تدايبر الحماية اللازمة من السقوط وربط وتخزين المواد الخفيفة الوزن و بما يتوافق الالتزام بإجراءات دليل الممارسات رقم 23 لمركز البيئة والصحة والسلامة). 5- ضرورة تغطية كافات المواد خفيفة الوزن لضمان سلامة الطرق والمارة. 6- تثبيت الاسوار المؤقتة للمشاريع جيدا والتأكد من استقامتهم بشكل سليم لا يحجب الرؤية . 7- ضرورة تواجد وتوفر فريق طوارئ خاص بمشاريع الانشاء في حالات الطقس السيئة . 8- تفتيش المشروع والاماكن المحيطة به. 9- ضرورة اخطار الجهات الحكومية المعنية عند تجمعات المياه. 10- زيادة العلامات الضوئية على الاقماع والحواجز البلاستيكية والخرسانية . 11- ضرورة الاطلاع ومعرفة وعدم تجاوز سرعة الرياح الامنة للرافعة كما ورد في دليل المواصفات الخاصة بالجهة المصنعة للرافعة يرجى من الجميع التعاون لما فيه المصلحة العامة.
