To all my friends in college about to graduate: With university life quickly coming to a close, I’m sure you’re looking for a job if you haven’t already found one. Well, if you are interested, I have an opportunity for you. As you know, I have been working in China as an ESL teacher since September and life here is just spectacular. I’m living in the Hebei province in Shijiazhuang and teaching at a university called Hebei University of Economics and Business, better written as 河北经贸大学. I originally really wanted to study abroad, but didn’t have enough money or time, so I decided to do teaching abroad instead. It’s basically the exact same as studying abroad, except I teach the classes instead of learning in them and I get paid. If you want to see some other part of the world with probably the most different culture and scenery in the world (other side of the planet), immerse yourself in foreign language and culture, eat Chinese food every day, get some foreign experience, try giving teaching a shot as a job/career, or want a job that is basically the same as a university student/graduate student/foreign exchange student except you are teaching instead and don’t pay tuition, then you have an opportunity for this once in a lifetime experience. I hunted for a suitable job teaching here for quite a while and with much trouble. However, I’m sending this opportunity to you with such convenience. You would have the same job as me and be my neighbor here! I think everyone should have this opportunity, or else I wouldn’t actually post this. If you’re going to graduate and don’t have a job set up or want to explore the world and procrastinate your future or enjoy a very different once in a lifetime experience, this is the opportunity for you.
