Today I got a new experience. After solat Jumaat, I went to subway - TopicsExpress

Today I got a new experience. After solat Jumaat, I went to subway to buy some food. I ordered a tuna sandwich. Then, after a long wait, I got my sandwich and it’s time to pay. When I reached at the counter, I don’t have any cash on me because I didn’t withdraw any money yet. I tried to pay with my cards but unfortunately the Subway system is crashed somehow. The cashier told me that all my cards can’t be used. I panic and I said to her I didn’t have any cash on me so I need to call my friend so I can borrow his money first. When I was about to make the call, an American guy behind me step forward and said to the cashier, “I will pay for this kid sandwich.” I was shocked and asked him again, did he really want to pay for my sandwich and he replied, “It is okay. I will pay for you. You just have a nice day kid.” I was startled but I thanked him a lot. I’m a totally stranger to him and he just paid for my sandwich. I hope this good value can be practiced in Malaysia. I hope people will lend a helping hand to others although they are just a stranger. Not just in Malaysia, maybe around the world too..
