Today I went down the West Coast for lunch but the restaurants - TopicsExpress

Today I went down the West Coast for lunch but the restaurants down there would not listen and everyone was using gas at the same time so I was told I would have to wait 20 minutes for something to get Grilled. I went to this place that I used to enjoy in the past when it was a domicile that needed what the Barbados netball team is crying out for. When I ordered the house special I remembered being told by Sherrylyn Toppin that I have no behaviour so I warned my server that I did not want the chef portion of rice. Boy, I should have kept my mouth closed. I was provided with a huge mound of black-eye peas rice, something which I had not seen and enjoyed since the departure of Cicelene Bynoe. I was given some slices of sweet potato that would have given Ezra Stuart a challenge to reap and I was served butternut squash and helpings of okra that had I been offered such 10 years ago Donna Haynes would be outpacing the Taken sequels. The amount of braised lamb on my plate would have made Jam Paul complain about the amount of food imports or the decimation of the local stocks. The succulence of the food and the sea side ambience reminded of the scores of meals which I had enjoyed in the past when that establishment was not next to the sea.
